ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH?????

Unlike the Zoo our reptiles are not locked behind glass screens. If you are brave enough and have never held a snake this is your chance. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea. Learn about these fascinating creatures. For many people this is the first time of handling reptiles and they are usually amazed, as it was not what they were expecting. You can learn how they live, what they eat, and what they feel like to touch.

If you are interested in owning a reptile our experts will happily talk you through the do’s and don’ts and make sure you are fully aware of the commitment and implications of owning such a pet. Regrettably, due to temperature control, we do not run a show that you can enter your pet lizard, snake or spider into. However, you can spend hours playing with our giant iguana, cuddling snakes or stroking the poisonous spider. Please note that we cannot provide incubation facilities if you decide to bring your own reptile to the show.

Practical advice is available in caring for your pet. All of our zones have resident experts that can answer even the most complex question. Simply drop in to the clinic and we can offer you help and advice on the best ways of caring for your pets. Whether it is feeding, health & wellbeing or simply how to best groom your pet, no question is too daft and if we don’t have the answer(s) then our Vets Zone will be on hand to research the question(s).
